I normally get acute gout flare-ups 2-3 times a year that are easily relieved with NSAID's. I brought my meds with me on this trip to Japan, but it started flaring up on the plane ride into Tokyo. 2 days later when we got to Osaka, I couldn't stand the pain anymore and could barely walk. Walked in to the clinic, told him my history and what I wanted. I was in and out in less then 10 minutes. Went down the street to the pharmacy and got my meds 5 minutes after that. All staff from front office, to MD, to Pharmacist we kind, friendly, and efficient. Professional courtesy might have played into as I mentioned that I was also a provider. Rather than rushing to prescribe unnecessary medication, he gave me sensible advice, which in my case, was very effective. Got a bad sunburn whilst on holiday in Japan. We got in to see the doctor immediatly, he spoke English well, was friendly and reassuring, the treatment he precribed was effective, and the price was reasonable. Highly recommend.... see more
