Dr. Ryo Kitamura

I had a great experience here after my regular dentist could not fix a broken filling in a tricky location that resulted in a cavity. My Japanese isn't very good, but Dr. Kitamura gave me clear advice and options in perfect English. We chose the less invasive and expensive option first, which has worked well so far, and I was able to avoid a root canal. He fixed my filling and sterilized the cavity and infected nerve area with a laser, so the process was mostly pain free. And surprisingly fast. The extra cost not covered by NHI was reasonable. If a root canal is eventually needed, I know I would be in good hands. I could tell by Dr. Kitamura's credentials, experience and skill that he's one of the best dentists I've ever visited. I had a tooth that underwent a root canal, and the crown—done by a different dentist two years ago—seemed to be coming off. Absolutely the best dentist in Tokyo. I had serious issues with the root of my front tooth—the inflammation had even reached the bone. But the doctor saved my tooth and gave me an incredibly beautiful crown. Now I have the most amazing smile ever! I’m also really grateful for the way everything was explained clearly, step by step, which helped me understand the problem and stay calm throughout the process.
